In 2015 at 19 she debuted her first single Here. It was a huge smash and garnered praise from both listeners and critics alike. The single peaked at 19th at both Canadian Hot 100 as well as the Billboard Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone named it one of the most memorable songs of 2015. In that same year she released her debut album Know It All with the third track Scars to Your Beautiful being one of the five original songs which reached the top of Billboard charts including The Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100. The track was distinctive due to the fact that many listeners were able to relate to the conversation she conducted with rapper Rap-Up on her journey in learning to love and be herself. Cara has earned a name for incorporating messages about the importance of mental health, kindness and self-love in her songs. She has been struggling with anxiety and insomnia that has influenced her music. According to a Reuters interview she describes the album as being half turbulent and half perfected. The singer says that she discovered her development through therapy. Alessia Cara is a Canadian singer who was born on July 11, 1996, to parents who are of Italian heritage. Her parents gave her a brand-new guitar which she utilized to develop her passion for music. She began to cover her favorite songs when she was thirteen to show that world that she was a talented musician and the confidence required to become an artist. Sweater Weather became her most famous album. A record label, EP Entertainment, noticed her and allowed her to write songs.
