Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actress, singer in playback and a performer who appears mostly in Tamil as well as Malayalam language films. Her acting debut was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam in addition to her Malayalam debut was in Annayum Rasoolum's film. Andrea Jeremiah is an Anglo-Indian born in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father works as an attorney in the Madras High Court. She is the younger cousin of an assistant researcher Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah was born in Chennai and went to National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea began studying classical piano when she was eight. She was a big fan of geeks and wanted to be psychiatrist. Young Stars, a Jackson Five group that she joined at 10 years old, formed her base for musical and vocal. At her college days, she also was a theater artist and performed in numerous stage productions organised by The Madras Players. She was also president of Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea started her career acting in the theatre, through Girish Karanad's Nagamandala. Andrea was in a new Leo advertising for coffee along alongside actor Shiva in the year 2006. The actress was also part of the series which was broadcast on Podhigai. The actress has also appeared as a character in India. She played a minor role on the Kanda Mudhal final (2005). She sang in a song to Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu. She was asked to be one of his main female characters in Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea is Kalyani which is a wife and mother to a man with whom she has a love affair. Andrea took on the role of Kalyani in the wake of Simran Shobana, Tabu as well as other actors were invited to audition for the role. The film was first released in the year 2010. She agreed in 2011 to take on a small supporting role in Venkatprabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha and it was released in August 2011, Annayum Rasoolum which is a romance film produced by Rajeeev R. which was released in 2013, was her Malayalam debut.
